Vanker Industries Limited was found in 1996. We are accredited ISO9001 since 1999.Our factory has got the ICTI, BSCI, ETI approval. We specialize in making different kinds of markers, crayons, art sets and other drawing accessories such as glitter glues. Our products are conformed to EN71 part 1,2,3 and 9, LHAMA ASTM D-4236, BS7272 part 1,2. OEM project is welcomed as we do have engineering workshop in factory which is leaded by professional engineer, with advance machineries like milling, grinding, line cutting, EDM and CNC for molds developing and maintenance.
Our head office is located in Hong Kong as well as factory in Shenzhen, China. There are 15 staffs in Hong Kong office and are responsible for sales, order organizing, shipping, accounting and products development.
Vanker has invested to build a laboratory inside our factory. We have equipped Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC/MSD). This state-of-art device is capable to detect a huge range of organic chemical to ensure our product fulfill the legal requirement, such as the banned substances list in Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC), EN71 Part9 and Phthalates Directives. We also extended our ability by installing Inductively Coupled Plasma Spectrometer (ICP), which can precisely detect the concentration of heavy metal as low as several ppb. This value is far lower than the current and proposed legal requirement.
We have Clean Room facilities to make sure there has no dust or bacterial go inside the ink mixing area. Before the mixing, water is the main component and we use Two-Pass Reverse Osmosis System to make sure our water do not contain impurities. We will test our ink accordingly and see whether there has exceeded the total plate count limit through our Microbiology Laboratory. With the capability of self-checking, we can more actively to maintain the quality of our product and reduce the risk of releasing dangerous consumer products to the market.
After that, we will test our ink on whether exceed the total plate count limit through our Microbiology Laboratory.
Our factory has 150,000 sq. ft. and mainly for manufacturing. It is near the boundary of Hong Kong. There are over 800 workers with various machineries. They include injection molding and pen assembly machines in production department.
We also have our own mould department which means the mould of all our markers like felt tip pen, crayon, highlighter, glitter glue, art cases......etc are done by ourselves. It can more flexibilities to carter for the various needs of customers.
In addition, there are silkscreen printing, pad printing, foil stamping, high frequency welding, sonic welding in our packaging department to meet customer requirements of their own packing style. Moreover, we have our own water purification system to ensure the water is clean enough for ink mixing.
AS our Safety concern mentioned earlier, materials used have been carefully selected, it mainly from US, Japan, German and Taiwan.
With rapid expansion and high working efficiency in our office and factory, our productivity is over 1,500,000 pieces of Markers a day. We are looking forward to serving you in near future.
