The foundation for ACT’s workshops is based on the experiential approach to learning. In experiential learning, participants are placed in the middle of the action where, through active involvement, individuals can best learn about themselves and other members of their team. It can be viewed as developing people ‘from the inside’ to be more effective at work and in their personal lives. An experienced facilitator leads the session ensuring a trusting and fun environment where participants are encouraged to openly share thoughts and feelings.
For an organization to be at its best, the company’s values, vision and its mission must be communicated and embraced by its people. This will also translate into achievable and clear objectives or goals. If it faces transition or change management issues, its people need to be motivated to ‘buy-in’ to the changes and to re-align with the new objectives.
