CityU Professional Services Limited ("CPS") was established in 1998 to administer outside practice activities of the University. Its mission is to support the University in strengthening its contribution to industry, commerce and the community through the provision of high level professional and consultancy services.
With effect from 1 January 2011, the University has implemented a new set of Policy and Regulations on Outside Practice and Outside Work. A new Outside Practice Administrative Unit under the Office of the Chief Administration Officer has been set up to administer outside practice and outside work of the University. Since then, CPS has ceased to take up new projects and only handles its existing projects on hand until their satisfactory completion.
