UWantGadgets was formed by a team of like minded people, with experience in different disciplines, QA, sales, procurement and engineering. The main business interests include product search, product design and project management.
Like LEDs, we are evolving. The company, aptly named UWantGadgets, was formed as a supplier for all types of gadgets. Anticipating future developments in Solid State Lighting (SSL) and the immediate need for global reduction in energy consumption we decided to promote efficient lighting products, our way to help to reduce lighting energy consumption, hence the new

Our moto is, "light up with less watts"
It has been known for many years that lights we use in the home and offices consume far too much energy. Lighting products have not changed for many decades, based principally on incandescent and fluorescent systems, the former is inefficient and the latter is less friendly to the environment. Employing solid state lighting products can lower and in future will radically reduce the energy we use to light up our homes and place of work.
We believe, having gained knowledge from the early developments of LED products we can help potential customers to avoid the pit falls of product selection and at the same time help to reduce energy consumption considerably. We do not only sell them, our principle is to advise and to ensure customers purchase the right products for the application. All efficient lighting products are game: LED, induction and even plasma lamps (when they are available), electronic control gear for lamps etc. For the future we are to look into supplying, renewable energy generating products like solar, wind, geo-thermal etc. as these go hand in hand with low power consuming lighting products.
Gadgets is in our name, our roots, we can and still do supply those nifty little products.
