The Business and Professionals Federation of Hong Kong (BPF) is a membership organisation. Members are business and professional people who share the common goal of stability and prosperity for Hong Kong. Many members also serve on government advisory committees and councils.
With support from major business corporations, professional bodies and academic institutions, BPF conducts research in order to influence public policy makers in the formulation of strategies for improving the well-being of the Hong Kong community as a whole.
BPF is not a political party. It actively encourages participation by the business and professional sectors in matters of public interest.

Admission to membership is by invitation. There are four categories of membership:

Corporate MembersCorporate Members are companies entitled to appoint up to four representatives to participate in BPF's activities.

Voting Members Ordinary Members are individuals from either the business or the professional sector.

Association Members Association Members are institutions and organisations in the business and professional sectors.

Ordinary Members Associate Members are younger executives participating in BPF's training programmes and activities.
