In 1994, Po Shing Electrical Engineering Company, the former of Po Sing Engineering Limited, was founded.
In December 1998, Po Sing Engineering Limited was established with No.: 22167018 after undertaking a re-organization in accordance with Business Registration Ordinance of Hong Kong (Chapter 310). From the beginning, Po Sing mainly performed a range of services in altering, improving, repairing and replacing low voltage electrical installation in rental housing estates and home ownership estates under Hong Kong Housing Authority.
In June 1999, Po Sing was registered as an electrical contractor with Registration No.: 011743 under the Regulation 10(1) of the Electricity (Registration) Regulations (Cap. 406 Sub. Leg.). At the time, Po Sing started to engage the subcontracting business in design & built contracts under Architectural Services Department and Electrical & Mechanical Services Department.
In May 2002, Po Sing was successfully recognized to implement Quality Management System, was fulfilled with ISO9001:2000 standards by Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency, with Certificate No. CC-2233. To cope with the continual business development, Po Sing stepped in the field of energy management and energy audit in related to the various building services installations. Since 2003, Po Sing has participated in Electrical & Mechanical Services Department’s projects for energy management system on various electrical installations and HVAC systems in various government buildings.
In February 2004, Po Sing started to engage the maintenance services on generator sets for term maintenance contract under Hong Kong Housing Authority.
In September 2004, Po Sing has implemented in design and built projects of architectural lighting installation for various government and commercial buildings. With years of experience, Po Sing was successful to provide from consultancy to contracting services for a number of prestigious projects including A Symphony of Lights Phase 1, 2 and 3 – to install various performance lightings among the waterfront buildings including Hong Kong Cultural Center, Hong Kong Museum of Art, Hong Kong Coliseum, Tsim Sha Tsui Waterfront Promenade, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center, The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Queensway Government Offices, Hong Kong City Hall, The Chinese People’s Liberation Army Forces Hong Kong Building, Langham Place, and Harbour Terminal. In December 2005, A Symphony of Lights was awarded the world’s “Largest Permanent Light and Sound Show” by Guinness World Records.
In April 2006, Po Sing was successfully recognized as a registered supplier for Electrical & Mechanical Services Department with Registration No. 308008.
In September 6, 2007, Po Sing was successfully recognized as a registered supplier for Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation with Registration No. 20959.
