Ms. Aileen began studying piano and musical literacy at the age of four. She graduated from the University of Toronto, minor in Music and studied piano with Ms. Barbara Cheung in Toronto, Canada. She holds a LTCL and ATCL diploma in piano from the Trinity College London both with distinction and obtained the Diploma in Music Performance in Piano from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is continuing to pursue her studies with Ms. Michelana Lam in Hong Kong. Ms. Aileen has a great passion for music and teaching. In Toronto, she worked with various music centers as a summer camp assistant, piano accompanist, and a teacher for over 7 years. At present, she is teaching at her home studio in Tsing Yi, Hong Kong for nealy 12 years. Ms. Aileen is also Vice President of the International Institue for Music Education (IIME).
