Biography : Can Wong is an experience advertising and fashion photographer, after 15 years of still shooting, he studied TV production at the HONG KONG FILM DIRECTOR’S run by Mr. John Sung (principal) and educated by pioneer film directors such as Jackie Chan, Tee Tung Sing, then he joins CENTRO digital co. acts as a TV director. In his work he likes to add new filming technical ideas which include mixing film and still strobe lighting, testing different kinds of film, and his expertise is to bring the actor / talent into the right mood. He loves music that influences his working attitude and open minded searching of novella elements make his work in creating special effects shots.
Can runs his own commercial photography studio which specialize in taking pictures of people for advertising, film poster and fashion brochures. He has great experience in organizing the complete photo section, casting talents and models, sets and props making, wardrobe and styling, hair and make-up or shooting abroad.
Besides photography, he is elected to be the president of the Hong Kong Institute of Professional Photographers in 1999-2001, he won the HKIPP award, award winning for 2000 4A’s Creative Awards, LONGYIN REVIEW print-ad, magazine work of the cover for PHOTO ASIA, special work for HASSELBLAD – FORUM magazine, NATIONAL COMMERCIAL PHOTGRAPHY COMPETITION (3 RD. CHINA) –award wining.
