Having adopted two dogs from the Hong Kong SPCA, I know the dilemma that loving pet-owners face when they want to take a break and get away from it all. I faced the same problem when I wanted to travel. Even for a short trip, it was difficult to find somewhere suitable for my beloved pets. Having rescued them from the kennels of the SPCA, I did not want to put them back into a kennel. What I wanted was to find someone that could take them into their home to care for and play with them and treat them as members of the family for the duration of their stay.
I could not find this service in Hong Kong, so I decided to offer the service myself.
You could not find a more loving home for your pets while you are not around. They live in my home with me and my family. They get to socialise with the other dogs in our care and are walked 4-5 times per day.
Our mission is to make the animals as comfortable as if they were in their own home. During the hot summer months, the air conditioners run 24 hours and during the cold winter months, we have space heaters and blankets to keep the pooches warm. They socialise with other dogs, people and children.
They get to play and have fun and therefore will not be traumatised as many animals are when they are left in kennels. We Charge $150/day/dog excluding food and transportation costs.
One day is calculated on a 24 hour basis from when the dog is dropped off. (eg.We collected the dog at 8am on Monday. 8am Monday until 8am Tuesday constitutes one day.)
If your dog remains with us for a portion of a day(up to 5 hours), you will be charged for a 1/2 day. (eg. We collect the dog at 8 am on Monday, we return the dog at 1pm on Wednesday. You will be charged for 2.5 days. If we return the dog at 3pm, you will be charged for a full day, unless otherwise arranged.)
