To create a harmonious, equal, and healthy society by funding and operating projects in education and care for children and adults impacted by AIDS, AIDS prevention and anti-discrimination.
CHF’s work in China includes AIDS prevention targeting vulnerable groups and care for AIDS patients and their children. Since 2002, the organization has been providing aid to children impacted by AIDS in central China (more on China AIDS epidemic).
Local implementationWe operate offices in Central China to be close to the people we are serving. By so doing, we hope to better understand the needs of these children and better judge the efficacy of our programs.
As of the summer of 2005 there were 3,000 children under our program in four provinces (Henan, Anhui, Shangdong and Guangdong).
