In a city of many interesting and worthy clubs and organizations, The American Club Hong Kong stands alone in high quality. Its combination of services, facilities and reputation make it Hong Kong's pre-eminent social club populated by one of the most international and affluent memberships anywhere.
Hong Kong Island has only a handful of private, non-profit Member Clubs with extensive recreational facilities for families. The American Club is the only Member-owned Club in Hong Kong that owns both Central town and country facilities. In addition to the clubhouse facilities, the Club has a racebox at Happy Valley racecourse, and over 80 reciprocal clubs agreements worldwide.
The Board of Governors and management of the Club are working to build into the Club a sound financial base, while implementing a continuous improvement program tailored to Members' needs.
The Club has evolved to its present status due to the determined efforts of a first class membership who will continue through the 22nd Century without compromising the values on which the Club was founded over 80 years ago.
