Ricky Music Factory (RMF) was founded in 1998 by Ricky Chu, the drummer of an established band 'Tai Chi in Hong Kong.
RMF aims at providing formal and professional musical training to people of all ages. After a number of negotiations with Trinity College London, we successfully introduced the Trinity Drum Kit Exam and Rockschool Popular Music Exam to Hong Kong in 2003 and the succeeding years. Since then, popular music learners in Hong Kong could have qualifications and measures of their achievements that are recognised around the world.
To ensure all students could receive professional and formal musical training, all tutors of Ricky Music Factory are chosen with strict demands. They all possess a wealth of teaching experiences and professional music qualifications.
Our students achieve good results in various music examinations. Our studios are appointed as the examination centres and point of entry of Trinity College London and Rockschool. Mongkok branch is also one of the examination venues of the Royal Schools of Music. We always encourage our students to frilly utilise their musical skills. Apart from arranging workshops for exchanging experiences, large scale student concert is held annually to provide performance platform for our students.
Branches at Fortress Hill and Mongkok were opened in 2006 and 2009 respectively to provide well-equipped and spacious learning places for our students. There are large multi-purposes rooms for group practice and holding seminars.
We enrol examinations of Trinity College London, Rockschool and the Royal Schools of Music for our students. Enquiries for our courses are welcomed.
