柏斯管樂團周年音樂會2010

柏斯管樂團將於2010年10月9日晚上八時假荃灣大會堂演奏廳舉行柏斯管樂團周年音樂會2010。

柏斯管樂團於2007年由柏斯音樂基金會成立，樂團由多位著名音樂家攜手領導，當中包括蔡國田先生(音樂總監兼指揮)、張立先生(木管)、關子禮先生(銅管) 及周展彤先生(敲擊)。樂團旨在提高香港管樂團質素，以及為有才華的青少年提供優質的樂團訓練。
Parsons Wind Orchestra (PWO) founded by Parsons Music Foundation in 2007. It is under the guidance by famous musicians Mr. Choy Kwok Tin (Music Director and Conductor), Mr. Cheung Lap (Woodwinds), Mr. Steve Kwan (Brass) and Mr. Chau Chin Tung (Percussion). The performance level of the orchestra continuously improves under the devoted effort by the talented and passionate members.

音樂總監及指揮 Music Director & Conductor - 蔡國田 Choy Kwok Tin
蔡氏於1987/88年度樂季受聘為香港管弦樂團單簧管手。蔡氏目前在香港演藝學院、香港中文大學、香港浸會大學及香港音樂專科學校任教單簧管和薩克司風。除此之外，蔡氏亦是香港管樂合奏協會的副主席。蔡氏為香港小交響樂團之創團成員，並於1990至2006年間擔任該團之的首席單簧管。
Choy Kwok Tin was engaged as clarinetist in the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra for the season 1987/88. Choy is now teaching Clarinet and Saxophone at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Baptist University and the Hong Kong Music Institute. Besides, he is the Vice-Chairman of the Hong Kong Wind Ensemble Association. He is also the founding member of the Hong Kong Sinfonietta in which he was the Principal Clarinet from 1990 to 2006.
