We offer a range of fun and enriching classes to children from 1 to 7 years old.
At PlayTent, we believe otherwise. It is our principle that personal gain can be cultivated while having fun and a good time. In fact, we take pride in fostering a fun, safe and nurturing atmosphere in which young, budding minds can grow and blossom.
To encourage the development of creativity and to facilitate the discovery of talents, we have designed each of the classes to be intellectually stimulating and conducive for self-development.
Meanwhile, we value and respect the individual characteristics of each child; we strive to enhance the confidence, independence,creativity and analytical skills of a child within the context of his or her own individuality. We also recognize curiosity as an asset and are here to provide a safe and supportive environment for young, curious minds to flourish and explore.
We are offering classes to children from 1-7 years old ranging from English & Mandarin Playgroup to Storytelling, Phonics, Art & Play, Culinary adventure and etc.
Programs
Little Explorer (12 months to 18 months):
A music and dance packed programme designed to stimulate your toddler's sensory development, filled with activites that you or your caregiver can stimulate at home to ensure your child's optimum mental and physical progress.
English Playgroup (18months to 36 months):
A programme designed to introduce children to the joy and fun of learning. It exposes children to songs, dances and games aimed at developing their language skills, musical acuity and better motor skills.
Storytelling (3-5 years):
Storytelling is FUN and EXCITING!
These are storytelling sessions coupled with role-play, games and crafting activities, intended to tease your child's imagination, analytical skills and love for the written word.
Mandarin Playgroup (18-36 months):
Introduces children to basic Mandarin words and phrases through fun songs and games. Classes are designed to make your little one fall in love with Mandarin by speaking and listening to it.
Little Scientists (2-7 years):
Bring your child into the fascinating world of Science! We will stimulate their minds through 'blowing-up' experiment in a fun and safe environment.
English/ Mandarin Little Artists (2-7 years):
A superb combination of art, sensory stimulation and play especially for little hands! Designed to nurture your child's creativity, imagination and adventure spirit plus the added incentive of taking pride in their work and accomplishments.
Little Chefs (2-7 years):
Let's get your child on a culinary adventure and have them whip-up some magic! Children are introduced to cooking skills such as 'sievind stirring and stirring'. We will also introduce different types of ingredients and healthy eating habits.
Oxford Reading Tree's Buddy (4-7 years):
Oxford Reading Tree Reading Scheme has helped millions of children learn to read and write through a wide-range of activities such as role-playing, sequencing and predicting. Give your child a head start at reading and making them avid readers for life!
Mandarin Class (3-7years) :
Provides a good foundation in Mandarin through reading classic stories, rhymes, language games and crafts activities that focuses on the use of language.
Phonics Expert (2.5 - 7 years):
We can all be Phonics Expert!
A Jolly Phonics programme aimed at having children spell and read simple words within the first few lessons- a sure boost of confidence! This, in turn, encourages your child's love for reading.
Jolly Steppers (2-3 years):
A class designed to prepare (and excite) your child for kindergarten. It encourages increased independence and self management while allowing them to discover how much more fun it is to work with other children or with a team.
Messy Play (12 months -4 years):
While we take care of all the MESS let your children have ALL the FUN! Actively engages your child's senses with a variety of textures, scents, and flavors while they can learn to observe, create, imagine, explore, socialize and investigate.
