Practical Desktop Publishing using InDesign
Objectives
The objective of this course is to help the participants to create simple newsletters, brochures, leaflets using InDesign. InDesign easy to use yet powerful layout features allow users to create such documents with ease.
Course Content
(1) Planning for the document design
(2) Understanding the InDesign environment
(3) Creating and using master pages
(4) Text and type formatting; color and swatches; graphics layouts; using tables
(5) Output for print and web
Each participant will be provided with one PC terminal for hands-on practice.
Admission Requirements
Participants are expected to have good knowledge of PC and Windows. Prior experience in graphics design will be beneficial, but not essential.
