As an old-aged expectant mother for her first child wishing to ensure her child to be a mentally and physically normal one, Olivia started to look for all possible pre- and post- natal education methods. After much research, she found the right brain education the most persuasive. With a “no harm to try” attitude in mind, she started applying it on her daughter when she was 7 months old.
She understood the importance of the role of a mother especially in a child’s early childhood development, so she decided to give up her career as a Vice President of an international company and helped her child through this important formative stage. She fully devoted her time to take care and coach her daughter. When her daughter was 3, she could read and understand 500 words both in English and Chinese, and could read books. However, the right brain education lacks the feature of logical thinking. Then she added the traditional left brain education accordingly.
Between the age of 3-6, her daughter had represented her schools for poem contests and won championships. She can write a short essay at the age of 5. She loves music, with piano performance level of ABRSM Grade 3, and sports so much and she is an expert in swimming too. Her interest is multifarious. However, her daughter’s lovable character, playful and happy personality, a happy reader and an insatiable explorer impressed her the most. Learning new things has always been an easy and enjoyable task. Seeing many of the diversified benefits of both the right and the left brain education (we call “full brain education”) being displayed from her daughter, Olivia decided to set up her own academy and to share her experience so that more children and their parents can be benefitted.
Olivia holds a Master of Science Degree in Marketing at Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science at King’s College London University (1st Hons), a Diploma in Company Management at CUHK, a Certificate in Excellent Parent Coaching at Hong Kong Professional Teachers’ Union , etc. She had been in the capacities of sales, marketing planning, training, and senior administration and management for international companies in the past 15 years. She had also been a lecturer for the School of Continuing Education HK Baptist University, formerly called External Course - The Baptist College
