SMART CELLS INTERNATIONAL is one of the world's leading providers for the safe storage of new-born stem cells, which can be collected from your baby's umbilical cord and preserved for at least 25 years.
Stem cells are called master cells or "smart cells" because they miraculously know how to change into the entire spectrum of cells that make up the human body. Stem cells are used to treat many diseases and disorders and many new therapies are on the horizon.
SMART CELLS(HK) Ltd is growing to serve new markets around the world and we also have offices in London, Spain, South Africa, Lebanon, Italy and Dubai. In the near future we will be introducing a new service called smartadult which includes the collection and safe storage of adult stem cells.
SMART CELLS INTERNATIONAL started collecting umbilical cord stem cells in February 2001 (we were formerly known as Cryo-Care (UK) Ltd). Since then we have collected and safely stored thousands of stem cell samples from around the world. We work closely with hospitals and have trained medical professionals and midwifery departments in the process of stem cells collection.
We continue to be one of the worlds leading provider for the safe storage of new-born stem cells. We have offices in London, Dubai, Spain, Italy, South Africa, Lebanon and are planning to serve a number of other markets around the world.
