With an annual turnover of 500 million euro, TOP-TOY is one of the largest toy businesses in Northern Europe. TOP-TOY has two retail chains and one wholesale division. The retail chains are the well-known BR and TOYS"R"US.The wholesale chain is managed by K.E. Mathiasen and covers all Nordic countries.
Strong Focus on Quality and Safety
Both lines of busines focus strongly on high quality and safety products like TOP-TOY's own brands (BELLINO, KIDS-WOOD, PLAY2LEARN, FOOD 'N FUN, COLOR KIDS AND FLEXI-TRAX) and for example, known brands like BARBIE, HOT WHEELS, FISHER-PRICE and Sylvanian Family.
Responsibility
Another important focus point is Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). TOP-TOY uses various resources to grow its awareness and actually make a difference when it comes to social and environmental responsibility.
Growth
Part of TOP-TOY's vision is to gradually grow the business. Managing Director Peter Gjoerup: "We focus on continous and controlled growth, meaning we seize opportunities when they occur while at the same time using our good old business sense. Current players in TOP-TOY's growth scenario are Germany, the smaller towns in Sweden, Norway and Finland as well as countries in the Baltics."
