Upbest Group
The Upbest Group is principally engaged in the provision of a wide range of financial services including stock broking, margin financing, corporate finance advisory, futures broking, gold bullion trading, asset management and property investment and holding. The Group's operations were established in 1988 and its activities are primarily based in Hong Kong and Macau.
In line with the Group's strategy to diversify and grow its earnings, the Group is further expanding into the property sector. This expansion stems from the Directors' experience in property investment and development as well as their strong relationships built-up more than 10-years within the Macau property sector.
Corporate Finance Advisory - The Group conducts its corporate finance business through Upbest Securities including advising on initial public offerings, financial advisory work, placement of securities and undertaking underwriting and sub-underwriting of Hong Kong listed securities.
Futures Broking - The Group's futures broking business is conducted through Upbest Commodities which was registered as a commodities dealer with the SFC in August 1999 and commenced business in January 2000.
Asset management - The Group provides asset management services to the public through Upbest Assets. Upbest Assets has been registered as an investment adviser with the SFC since June 2000 and intends to provide investment and asset management services for discretionary and non-discretionary funds.
