Yat Ming Industrial Factory Ltd. For over 30 years Yat Ming has been recognized as one of the world's leading manufacturers. In 1997, Yat Ming relocated to a new factory in order to accommodate continued growth in its product line and manufacturing demands. It's new facility, situated in 106 acres in Dong Guan, China, contains over 68,000 square meters of space. Ideal for future expansions. Our factory workforce is actually housed onsite, which is normal for most factories of this size in China, and now employs over 1,400 individuals. Since each of our pieces is hand assembled, it takes a multi-skilled, multi-talented workforce to operate our factory.
For those who are not familiar with our product line, we offer quality diecast toys for school-aged children (our "Road Tough" line), as well as various licensed diecast scale models (our "Road Signature" line) of Ford, General Motors, Chrysler as well as other auto manufacturers. All of our collector's diecast are thoroughly researched for accuracy and authenticity with meticulous attention to detail. This is what our customers have come to accept and deserve. Outside of our standard product line, Yat Ming's customers have included such corporations as Coca-Cola, McDonald's. Burger King, Wendy's, Mattel and Hasbro. We are striving to continue to expand into the premium and OEM marketplace.
Over the years, Yat Ming maintained a domestic facility in the Atlanta area for the benefit of domestic accounts unable to purchase directly from China. With our business growing more to the direct importers in the toy industry, the pressure on the smaller customers to be competitive has increasingly forced many of them out of business. This shrinkage in domestic business forced us to rethink this strategy and we have now closed that facility and appointed O.K.Toys as our domestic distributor. O.K.
