The Invest Japan Invitation Program is designed to help foreign business people identify potential Japanese partners and discover new business or investment opportunities in the country. Program participants come to Japan to take part in a series of seminars, field trips (to industrial areas and business clusters) and business matching events. JETRO would like to welcome applications for participation in the JETRO Investment Mission 2006. This is a program that invites business people from around the world to participate in a weeklong study tour of Japan’s investment environment and regional markets and industries. The Program is designed for companies that a) have a clear potential for entering the Japanese market, b) have a strong desire to set-up operations in Japan - and are therefore very interested in learning firsthand about the country in which they intend to invest.
Description of Program Services Business and networking meetings with Japanese companies.
Visits to offices, factories, R&D centers, etc., where participants can gather firsthand information to help them explore suitable locations for their investment plans.
Seminars on Japanese markets and industries, as well as how to set up an office in Japan.
Field trips to select regions of Japan (see locations below) to study the area’s local investment environment and regional business incentives.
