During the Tong Zhi & Guang Xu period of Qing Dynasty, overseas Chinese of the ethnic groups of four Districts – Tai Shan, Xin Hui, Kai Ping and En Ping started uniting among themselves to provide liaison service. An unincorporated set up was initially established in 1909 and reconstitutionized to become the existing association in 1951.

Funded by donations from members and revenue of property investment, our Association aims at serving the community, liaising with overseas Chinese, supporting public charities as well as fostering education services. We operated a charity school in the post World War II period and established two secondary schools, two primary schools and one special school since 1963.

Our organizational structure comprises an Executive Committee with sections of General Affairs, Financial, Education, Public Relations, Social Welfare, Communication and Recreation, a Supervisory Committee and a School Management Committee.
