Early in 1984, the college had introduced the authoritative CIDESCO international diploma examination, and is now the assessment centre of several international professional diplomas, such as CIDESCO, ITEC, CIBTAC, CITY & GUILDS, IPCA and S.R.H. Besides, the National Labour & Social Security Department of China has appointed the college as an occupational skills assessment centre for OSTA China Beautician Diploma. |

| Enormous Education Network in China
Besides the mother school in Hong Kong, CMM Monita also develops subsidiaries in China and South East Asia. In China, there are nearly 20 schools, spreading over main provinces. Besides, the college has also cooperated with famous universities and occupational training schools in mainland to offer related courses. The partners include University of Donghua, Shanghai Second Polytechnic University, Chongqing University, Beijing Vocational and Technical College, etc. Every year, numerous students graduated from CMM Monita, counting for about 8000 – 10,000 people. |
![]() | Tertiary Education in Beauty
CMM Monita is dedicated to upgrading the professional standard of beauty education, and is actively engaged in developing beauty training courses with various further education institutes. In September 2004, we assisted in teaching some practical beauty topics for the first 2-year associated degree programme in Beauty & Health Therapy, offered by Hong Kong Community College of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. This is expected to further raise the standard of beauty industry as a professional career. The college has also cooperated with famous universities and occupational training schools in mainland to offer related courses. For instance, the Monita College of Shanghai Second Polytechnic University was established to provide the first 3-year tertiary course in Image (Beauty) Design. Professor Cheng Ming Ming was officially appointed as the headmistress of the college.
CMM Monita understands the importance of Management, for the long-term growth of beauty industry. Hence, we jointly organized a Professional Diploma in Entrepreneur Management Course with the Institute of Professional Education And Knowledge under the Vocational Training Council of Hong Kong. This is the first beauty course with the theme of beauty salon management; it further leads the beauty education industry towards academic level. |

Professor Cheng Ming Ming is the Chairperson of the Beauty Care and Hairdressing Training Board of HKVTC and the Beauty Industry Training Advisory Committee of the Education and Manpower Bureau (EMB). She supports the industry development by executing related policies. Besides, the College participates actively in the development projects of HKVC and EMB, while the tutors also assist in formulating & consulting policies, and promoting continuing education courses and examinations. |

| Occupation Opportunity
There are “Student Training Centre” & “Job Market”, as a mean to provide occupation opportunity and to recommend outstanding students to work in large beauty organizations. Moreover, there are beauty and hair workshops for students to practice serving customers. This allows students to accumulate experience and lets them to have a better understanding for the daily operation and management of a beauty centre or hair salon, which in hence help them to work and develop in the future. |

Foreign Exchange Program
The College jointly works with international well-known make up and beauty colleges, to broaden students’ vision and stimulate their creativity. Students taking the “International Professional Beauty Therapist Diploma Course” or the “Diploma of Fashion, Theatre & Media Make Up”, would have the change to join the exchange program to France, Italy, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Shanghai, etc.
The course is free of charge and student only need to pay for air flight, accommodation, catering and transportation fee. They will be awarded with certificate from well-known colleges, too.
Free French Study
Tour The college jointly organized a make up and beauty exchange program with a French professional college - Lycee Polyvalent Prive d’Esthetique de Touraine. Students had the chance to produce their own lip-gloss and visit Dior perfume factory to examine the production of perfume, make up and beauty products.
French, Japanese & Korean Study Tour
Besides, the college also organizes a Make Up, Beauty & Nail Training Study Tour with 2 well-known colleges in Asia, including the Yanagawa Hollywood Beauty College of Japan as well as the BBS Beauty School of Korea. Students are allowed to experience the top beauty & make up culture in Asia.
