Parents are overjoyed when their children obtain first in class!
But being first in class, does it mean children have achieved an all-round education?
da Vinci was a child full of imagination. His teachers thought he liked to tell lies, but his dad knew he only loved to dream. If da Vinci were with us now, he might be considered a child who lacks concentration. A genius would then be undiscovered.
Newtown enjoyed observing common objects around him. He noticed that bullets being fired would fall to the ground, whereas the moon was always high up in the sky. Then an apple which fell from the tree led to his discovery of the phenomenon of gravity.
The education today teaches children languages and other life-long knowledge, utilizing mainly the use of the left brain. The right brain is largely neglected, resulting in an unbalanced full brain development.
We only use 3-4% of the brain daily, about 97% untapped potential is hidden in the subconscious right brain. The right brain potentials include imagination, creativity, spatial relationships, memory, intuition, concentration, EQ, etc.
Does your child's intelligent right brain require stimulation? Can he/she learn voluntarily, acquire good concentration and better EQ? Do you wish your child to be first in Imagination, first in Creativity, first in Memory and first in Observation?
